ABOUT ME: VELIANNA KASHEVA

A piece of Bulgaria in Poland

 

I came to Katowice as a volunteer taking part in EVS - the European Voluntary Service.

I am 25 years old and I come from Bulgaria. In my country I've been working as a TV journalist and I am also doing photography and directing short videos and documentaries.

If you are wondering where the cross point between all those is - EVS, journalism, photos and directing - well, I guess there are three of them: my curiosity to the world, my way of seeing life as a neverending sequence of incredible frames and last but not least - my greatest wish: to give as much as I can in order make this world a better place. Through art.

So in this blog I will be telling you all about my stories here... Because, as Alex from one of my favourite movies sais, "happiness [is] only real when shared".
 

*The main language of this website will be English, but because I am a nice person, the blog section will be held in Bulgarian, English and... Polish as well! :-)
